In September and October, the #dedoc° voices scholarship program enabled 50 diabetes advocates from across the globe to attend the EASD and ISPAD conferences, either virtually or on site.
The program is designed to empower a new generation of advocates and to ensure that the voice of people living with diabetes is heard at scientific conferences. Additionally, #dedoc° hosted dedicated symposia as part of the conference programmes, each titled “What we wish you knew — and why”.
These events place people with diabetes at the center, allowing them to talk to the audiences of diabetes conferences such as healthcare professionals, researchers and industry representatives on topics relevant to the diabetes community.
