In June, Diabetes Australia appeared before a public parliamentary committee of inquiry alongside the Australian Diabetes Society and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
The Australian Parliament’s Health Committee called for the inquiry into diabetes with a closing date for submissions at the end of August.
The committee is currently considering the evidence and a report is expected in due course.
