In recent weeks PDGN has taken part in several on-line events.
New Statesman
PDGN was invited to participate in a global policy forum on the remaking of the world after coronavirus, organised by the New Statesman magazine. With contributions from the EU Commission, WTO, International Rescue, Parliamentarians and Mayors from the US, UK and Greece and the former Archbishop of Canterbury.
Take home points included the need to break the power of corporations to encourage innovation and new enterprise, how environmental factors affect health and health outcomes, how locally managed health care systems tend to be the most effective, how nursing is undervalued, and how global problems require global solutions.
