
As many studies have found, the risk of dying from COVID-19 increases with age, however a study by Exeter University has urged caution regarding younger people with type 2 diabetes.
Researchers at the UK university found that a 40-year-old with the condition has the same likelihood of a fatal outcome after becoming infected with COVID-19 as a non-diabetic who is 60.
